Energy Efficient Solutions

  1. Total Energy Analysis: This is an evaluation of the various systems in the home which influence energy consumption. A blower door is used to determine the total air leakage from hidden areas. An infrared camera

scan used in conjunction with the blower door help to locate the sources

    of air leakage.

2) Air Infiltration: This direct approach uses the blower door and

infrared camera to locate leaks for potential air

sealing.

3) Duct Leakage: A test to find out how leaky the HVAC'S ductwork is.

Leaking ducts can spill conditioned air from home to

outdoors. This creates unwanted pressure differences

between the living space and outside. Good air gets

pushed outside while dirty air rushes in to replace it.
