Tools Of The Trade
Blower Door

Used to pull or push air in to a building at other than natural pressures.

Calibrated sensor and guages measure the airflow across the fan to determine air leakage.
Duct Blaster
Used to test HVAC duct work for leakage.

Leaking ducts can spill conditioned air outside of the building envelope.  This displaced air  is replaced by dirty unconditioned air from outdoors.
Infrared Camera
This special camera allows us to "see" minute differences in temperature. It aids in locating problem areas such as hidden areas of  air infiltration, missing insulation, high moisture content and HVAC duct leakage.
Using the data collected during a home performance evaluation, you will be able to determine the most cost effective measures to take.
